The Ministry of Environment is collaborating with the relevant authorities to identify multiple suspects who were involved in a recent shootout with park rangers in Mondulkiri province’s Srepok Wildlife Sanctuary.
In a video of the incident, released by the ministry on April 8, the sounds of AK rifle shots being exchanged can be clearly heard, after the rangers allegedly caught wildlife poachers in the act.
The ministry did not confirm the date of the incident.
