Some tuk-tuk drivers just know how to look after their customers. When one such driver noticed two bandits on a motorbike preying on his female fare in the capital’s Daun Penh district on Wednesday, he kept one eye on his rearview mirror.
When the moto was close enough for its passenger to make a grab for the woman’s handbag, the astute driver swerved his tuk-tuk enough to knock the moto over and send the robbers flying. One was swiftly arrested, while the other made it back on the bike and rode to freedom. DEUM AMPIL
