A money changer in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet district found herself short-changed on Saturday after being robbed of $1,000 by a customer.

According to police, a customer came to the shop and exchanged money, after which she asked to come inside and rest because she was very tired.

No sooner had the owner allowed her to enter, than the woman saw the money on the table, stole it and fled before she could be caught.

A report was filed to the police who are now on the lookout for the suspect.
