Cambodian Television Network (CTN) opened its 400 square meter production studio
on October 2 in a ceremony presided over by HE Sok An, Senior Minister and Minister
of the Council of Ministers.
The $1 million studio took nine months to complete.
CTN is Cambodia's sixth TV channel, and commenced broadcasting in March, 2003. It
is a joint venture between Millicom International Cellular SA and Royal Asia One.
CTN produces 20 percent of its programming and plans to expand this to 40 percent
by the end of the year.
The television company also plans to invest in audience research and ratings in order
to attract and cater to the needs of their viewers.
