Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Dith Tina encourages lecturers at the Prek Leap National Institute of Agriculture to pursue their mission of imparting knowledge to students.

Each specialised faculty, he noted, has made a valuable contribution to the Kingdom’s development.

Tina was addressing a ceremony held to summarise the institute’s results from 2022 and the start of the new academic year.

He praised the work of the institute, saying he places a high value on its contribution to developing highly capable human resources, particularly in terms of the foreign language and technological skills that are needed to meet market demand.

He asked the lecturers to ensure that students receive plenty of practical lessons in addition to theoretical ones.

“Lecturers are the ones who provide knowledge. They are the keys that unlock the door to a world of new information. When they see their students succeeding, it must be incredibly rewarding and a huge source of pride,” he said.

Tina reminded students that if they wanted to achieve their goals, they must work hard and focus on acquiring knowledge imparted by their lecturers.

“Your education will provide you with the base you need to have the confidence to create the new ideas that lead you to your dreams,” he said.

“No one can be responsible for your futures except yourselves. The people of Cambodia are relying on you all to make a contribution to the national development. You must all work hard to ensure you have successful lives,” he added.
