THREE men were charged with armed robbery yesterday after allegedly stealing about US$9,000 worth of currency from a branch of Prasac microfinance institution in Pailin last week. Nob Srey Youth, deputy chief of Pailin police, said yesterday that Ngok Virak, 25, and Heng Chan, 24,  were arrested in Pailin on Saturday and Sok Chamroeun, 25, was arrested on Monday in Banteay Meanchey province. “They were officially charged with armed robbery,” he said. A security guard was shot in the shoulder during the robbery.
