The Ministry of Health on Friday confirmed four more cases of Covid-19, bringing the Kingdom's total active cases to 60.

The latest four, aged 28 to 47, are among 80 Cambodian Blue Helmets who recently returned from their UN peacekeeping mission in Mali.

The 80 peacekeepers, seven of them women, tested negative upon their return to Cambodia on July 10 and were placed in a 14-day quarantine at their base in Kampong Speu province.

But after a second test on the 13th day of their quarantine, four of them were confirmed Covid-19 positive. Three of the four are admitted to the Chak Angre Krom Health Centre in Phnom Penh's Meanchey district, while the 29-year-old woman peacekeeper is receiving treatment at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in the same district.

The latest cases bring the Kingdom's Covid-19 tally to 202, with 142 discharged from hospitals.
