In a heartfelt message, Williams thanked his Cambodian friends, saying, “Thank you to all my Cambodian friends for giving my parents such a warm welcome!”
He also expressed gratitude to his old friend Pich Oun for once again providing tuk-tuk transport during their visit.
Williams’ trip highlights his deep appreciation for Cambodia’s tourism potential.
He also used the opportunity to promote gender inclusivity and women’s empowerment in Cambodia’s tourism sector by sharing a moment with Pich Oun, a local tuk-tuk driver he befriended many years ago.
This reflects his ongoing efforts to support small businesses and women’s roles in the local economy.
As part of his diplomatic efforts, Williams continues to explore Cambodia’s tourist destinations, regularly purchasing local products and using services that help improve the livelihoods of local communities.
