ABA Bank announces its commitment to contribute $60,000 for three years to the Cambodian Children's Fund's (CCF) Primary Education Program. The monetary support aims to help sustain access to high-quality education for the most impoverished children.

The parties signed the Sponsorship Agreement on 4 September 2024 under the esteemed presence of CCF's Founder and Executive Director, Scott Neeson, ABA's Chief Marketing and CSR Officer, Igor Zimarev, and representatives from both entities.

This Agreement outlines an extensive three-year plan under which ABA Bank will provide monetary support of $20,000 per annum to the Primary Education Program of CCF. This contribution ensures that as many young learners receive a full-time primary education as possible. Today, over 740 primary school students attend classes at CCF's six Satellite Schools.

Complementary to the financial assistance, ABA also donated a set of computers, routers, and switches for a computer class in one of CCF's schools. This donation underscores the Bank's commitment to supporting the students in digital literacy in the technology-driven world.

"We are honored to yet again contribute to the Cambodia Children's Fund in their mission to provide transformative changes to underprivileged children," stated Igor Zimarev, ABA's Chief Marketing and CSR Officer.

"At ABA Bank, we believe that education lays the foundation of a prosperous and equitable society. By investing in the future of these children, we express our deep commitment to fostering growth, opportunity and impactful change within the communities we serve," he added.

In 2023, the Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CCF to develop an all-inclusive development program striving to improve the lives of disadvantaged children through internships and employment opportunities, scholarships, volunteer programs, cross-promotion activities, and monetary support.

ABA remains steadfast in empowering the next generation to foster a brighter future for all, ensuring that every child can reach their full potential, and demonstrating an unwavering commitment to social responsibility and community development.
