The Ministry of Health on April 4 reported 44 new Covid-19 cases, all but one of which were linked to the February 20 community outbreak.

The imported case is a Pakistani who arrived in Cambodia via South Korea on March 21.

The cluster cases are all Cambodian and include 11 children as young as seven months old.

Phnom Penh recorded the most cases at 25, followed by Preah Sihanouk at 17 and one in Svay Rieng.

The ministry also reported 68 recoveries, all but one of which were linked to the February 20 outbreak, bringing the tally to 1,136.

As of April 4, Cambodia had recorded a total of 2,689 Covid-19 cases with 1,012 receiving ongoing treatment and 19 confirmed deaths from the disease.
