On July 28, 2023, Chevrolet Cambodia introduced the new full model change of the Chevrolet Trax 2024. Chevrolet has fundamentally overhauled the new generation of Chevrolet Trax with comprehensive changes to be “Bigger, Longer, Wider and Bolder”.

The event was participated in by influencers, media, journalists, bloggers, Chevrolet Cambodia’s loyal customers, partners of the company, as well as its employees.

At the event, the guests present at the ceremony had an opportunity to feel and touch the features of the car and meet with a famous Cambodian star.

The Chevrolet Trax 2024 has extensive changes to both the exterior and interior design and brings a more powerful engine range. Chevrolet Trax emphasises its claim to be the sportiest car in its segment. This is further extended not only on-road, but also to modern and stylish everyday comfort.

Tuy Leakhena, General Manager of Chevrolet Cambodia, on behalf of the company’s management, congratulated the team on the new model and strongly believes it will excite Cambodia’s market.

The new Chevrolet Trax now has a particularly expressive appearance. A new large front grille with the ‘bowtie” representing the Chevrolet brand. The new bonnet and headlights emphasise the vehicle’s width.

In Cambodia’s market, Chevrolet has imported two new trims to support customer finance, the RS trim and LT trim, with an expanded colour palette of five colours for the RS Trim and six colours for the LT trim.

Trax has also introduced an 8in digital instrument cluster at the driver’s side paired with a massive 11in wide screen entertainment screen that enriches the front passenger’s driving experience.

Powering the all-new Chevrolet Trax is a 1.2l turbocharged petrol engine capable of up to 137hp and 220Nm of torque. Shifting is managed by a six-speed automatic transmission.

The turbo contributes to excellent on-demand power, particularly for passing manoeuvres and on-ramp acceleration.

It also offers great fuel economy. Available features worth noting include a rear view camera and wireless smartphone charging.
