Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra and Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort are thrilled to present Haute Croissanterie, a tasty treat crafted by talented chefs Aymeric Bellet, Driss Helali, Van Phannaret, Eric Berrigaud and their teams.
With January 30 World Croissant Day, now is the perfect time for Sofitel to launch its Haute Croissanterie concept, which invited chefs worldwide to reinvent the delicious French breakfast icon.
An iconic French pastry treat, the butter croissant continues to delight anyone and everyone with a sweet or savoury tooth – everywhere in the world.
And on World Croissant Day on January 30, Sofitel unveiled its brand-new Haute Croissanterie concept.
Initially, the unprecedented experience was launched by ambassadors from three hotels of the collection– Sofitel Dubai, The Obelisk in the UAE, Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel in South Korea and Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo in Panama.
Together, they perfected the recipe for their PurBeurre croissant, promising the best croissants in town.
During a dedicated week in Dubai, the ambassadors collectively trained other pastry chefs in their region to spread their excellence and savoir-faire.
Chef Aymeric Bellet was one of them. Thanks to the three ambassadors, 30 Sofitel properties launched Haute Croissanterie.
These emblematic destinations are introducing their local creations named "cultural link" croissants to represent Sofitel, defined by its logo as a symbol of the bond that connects cultures worldwide.
"Haute Croissanterie is our way of celebrating a mix of French and Cambodian flavours.
"It's a delicious adventure for your taste buds," said Chef AymericBellet, Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra.
