In a joint effort, Sihanoukville Tourism Authority, Hainan Tourism Holders and Hainan Airline Travel Group and World Pop Travel-Tours Group Co Ltd, joined hands to promote Hainan to Cambodian tourists.

As part of their campaign, Cambodian Ministry of Tourism officials under the leading of Mr. Tang Sochetkresna and the media were invited to visit the island from July 15-19. Travel to the destination in China is now easy with Hainan United Airlines flying direct to the province from Sihanouk to Haikou, capital of Hainan. Hainan Airlines has granted exclusive rights to World Pop, one of the largest travel company in Cambodia, to promote the touristic destination.
