Pizza Hut opened its flagship restaurant in Phnom Penh’s Boeung Keng Kang I last Friday, as the American multinational restaurant chain brings its world-famous pizza experience to the centre of the city.
HE KAO Kosal presided over the opening ceremony, representing Minister of Commerce HE Pan Sorasak, while Higgins Lauren, Representative of the US Embassy to Cambodia, Kuy Vat, group chairman of United Food Group, Unnat Varma, Asia Pacific managing director of Pizza Hut International, and Sengly Heng, Group CEO of United Food Group were also in attendance.
“The new Pizza Hut will feature the most modern and delicious pizza experience across all channels – including dine-in, delivery, take-out and even digital – to give Cambodians the easiest ways of experiencing the best tasting pizza in the world,” said Sengly.
The Boeung Keng Kang I restaurant joins the outlets near Calmette Hospital and in the Russian Market area – Cambodia’s first. United Food Group plans to open two more stores by the end of 2021, and 30 within the next two to three years, creating more than 800 job opportunities. PHOTOS SUPPLIED
