LIXIN Group take stake in Hana Jia Er to open new era of cold chain logistics in Cambodia
The strategic signing ceremony of LIXIN Group’s investing in Hana Jia Er Co, Ltd was grandly held at the LIXIN CEO Center on August 30.
Kevin Hsu, CEO of LIXIN Group, and Alice Cheng, chairwoman of Hana Jia Er, signed the Share Investment Agreement and formally entered into a strategic partnership in the presence of Dwan Zhang, CEO of Hana Jia Er, and Carey Liu, chairwoman of LIXINYI Co, Ltd.
The signing of the contract opens a new chapter of close cooperation between the two parties and sets the goal of the development of the Cambodian cold chain logistics industry.
Through the strong alliance, both parties will jointly empower the Cambodian cold chain logistics industry and accelerate its upgrading.
Hana Jia Er is the authorised distributor in Cambodia of cold chain products by AICE Company (Mengniu Holdings).
Kevin Hsu, CEO of LIXIN Group hailed the signing as transformational.

The strategic signing ceremony marks a new starting point for the cooperation between LIXIN Group and Hana Jia Er.
Both parties will give full play to their respective technical and resource advantages, deepen cooperation, assist Hana Jia Er in improving operational efficiency and competitiveness, reshape new industry standards, and promote the flourishing development of Cambodia’s cold chain logistics industry.
They will also devote themselves to the Cambodian market, effectively promote international business in the Kingdom and introduce Cambodia’s products to a broader international market.
The AICE cold drink brand held by Mengniu Group was born in Singapore, going on to occupy first place in the Indonesian ice cream industry in just three years, with sales of $520 million in 2021.
The designated cold drink brand for the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, it is the exclusive sponsor of World Cup Qatar2022 ice cream.
As well as the designated distributor of AICE Cambodia, Hana Jia Er is also a business service centre focused on the trinity of the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) channel in Cambodia – cold chain logistics and transportation, frozen food customs clearance and warehousing and distribution.
It currently mainly provides customers with high-quality ice cream, branded cold drinks, fast food and a range of other products.
It also provides a full range of frozen storage, cold chain distribution, logistics and customs clearance services for a majority of merchants. It is a star service enterprise with strong comprehensive strength and operation ability.
At present, the cold storage and warehousing service network is set across Phnom Penh, Battambang, Siem Reap and Kampot, and will spread throughout Cambodia in the future.
At present, a total of six cold storage warehouses have been built, with a comprehensive cold storage area of more than 10,000sqm.
Nearly 3,000 freezers have been invested in for the cold drinks market, with outlets covering 19 major provinces, districts and cities in Cambodia.
