The "Infinity" charity art auction, organised by LIXIN CEO Center, Tribe Art Gallery and curator Nat Di Maggio was successfully staged on September 13 at the sales gallery of the LIXIN CEO Center in Phnom Penh. The inaugural philanthropic auction of works by Cambodian master-artist Ponleu Prom attracted numerous Cambodian artists, donors and high-profile celebrities and entrepreneurs.
Ponleu Prom is well-known for his ground-breaking use of colour, emotional expression and unique perspective. He uses his talent to create works which are both intricate and profound.
The goal of the auction was to raise money to provide medical treatment for sick Cambodian children and ensure that they have the support they need to recover. All of the money raised will go to charity.
Additional collaboration was offered by Lotus Dance Studio, Botanico Brewing Company, Goel Community and Fat Passion, with the final day of the exhibition set for October 16.
The intrinsic appeal of the master's artworks held the fine art connoisseurs in attendance completely engaged, while also encouraging them to actively support the welfare of Cambodian children who are cancer patients.
The charity auction was a resounding success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of the attendees, who were led in bidding by an experienced auctioneer. Not only did each individual piece represent Ponleu Prom's creative achievements, but they also offered the strongest possible support for humanitarian organisations and their goals.
LIXIN CEO Center in Phnom Penh is an extraordinary structure that functions as both an artistic sanctuary and a charming residence, effortlessly welcoming visitors with an engaging atmosphere.
