Isuzu showcased the great strength of the “Isuzu D-Max Blue Power” for the first time at the “Asia Cross Country Rally 2016”, an international cross-country rally competition. The Isuzu team drove the “Isuzu D-Max Blue Power V-Cross 4x4” over a gruelling 2,500-kilometre race that covered Thailand to Cambodia. The winning team beat out top veteran rally teams from Thailand and other countries to take the checkered flag as it claimed every championship category: Overall, Modified Diesel Engine (T1D), Standard Diesel Engine (T2D) and Team championship along with 3rd Overall at the prestigious international championships for automobiles and motorcycles. The Asia Cross Country Rally 2016 competition, which was held this year for the 21st consecutive year, was flagged off at the starting line in Thailand on August 14 before finishing in Cambodia on August 19. The race was held over six days and was divided into six legs, comprising Pattaya, Chonburi, Chanthaburi and Trat in Thailand, and Koh Kong, Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh in Cambodia, before finishing at Angkor Wat, just outside Siem Reap.
