Digital skills training innovator DataU to expand product offerings
DataU Academy known for its data science, data engineering and advanced analytics career access training programmes will expand its product range in 2022 to better serve Cambodia’s growing needs for Industrial 4.0 readiness.
After two years of helping over 50 young Cambodians to access careers in data science and work at some of Cambodia’s most innovative businesses, DataU will invest heavily in the creation of a range of training programmes and courses to support the Kingdom's post-Covid-19 recovery.
DataU managing partner for business development Joseph Telfer said, “We are at a pivotal moment in Cambodia’s contemporary history. The government’s exemplary performance during Covid, under the leadership of Samdech Prime Minister Hun Sen, has created an opportunity for Cambodia to stand up in the new world and lead ASEAN in the development of new and innovative digital skills for the 4th Industrial Revolution.”
“Following two successful years focused on data science we now want to work with partners to invest in more training courses covering a range of topics and become more accessible by offering shorter courses.
"We’re interested in investing in RPA [robotic process automation], VR/AR, eSports and gaming, crypto and blockchain, API and microservices, and more vendor specific programmes alongside our developing partnerships with major global vendors.”
Cambodia’s investment into digital skills through the pandemic has already provided families with income protection, and the immediate digital future offers enormous opportunities to Cambodians and businesses in the Kingdom that embrace high skills training.
