CP ALL nurturing skilled human resources since 2019 with Scholarships for Cambodia
CP ALL (Cambodia) Co, Ltd’s firm commitment to the Kingdom is reflected in the CP ALL Scholarships for Cambodia programme, with more than $4 million invested every year in developing local human resources since its inception in 2019.
This commitment stands alongside the primary objective of CPL ALL Cambodia – a member of the CP ALL Group – of introducing 7-Eleven’s convenience stores and management services to the Kingdom to not only expand customer choice, but also stimulate the economy.
Each year, CP ALL Group sponsors 70 scholarships at the Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) – the company ‘s social education institution – in bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Modern Trade Business Management and International Business.
A major advantage of studying at PIM is its unique Work-Based Education system, which cultivates highly skilled and professional human resources by providing students with real-world experience through internships at 7-Eleven stores and leveraging the institute’s extensive network of industry partners.
Sorn Kimseng from Koh Kong province, one beneficiary of the programme making remarkable strides in her professional journey, acknowledged the scholarship’s role in her success.
“Having the opportunity to work while pursuing education provided me with invaluable experience, and I am delighted to be a part of an organisation with a culture that fosters teamwork and a sense of family.
“Being a part of 7-Eleven Cambodia is to have an incredible opportunity to contribute to the Kingdom’s development,” said Kimseng, a graduate of the first course in 2019 who now holds the lofty position of Key Account Officer at ALL Im-Ex and Proservices Co, Ltd.
Offered as an unconditional grant, the cost of the scholarships to Cambodian students annually totals more than 150 million baht ($4.3 million), with the programme, which has been running for five years, aligning with the CP ALL motto of “Giving and Sharing”.
CP ALL remains committed to nurturing human resources by providing invaluable knowledge and experience, and ensuring the long-term growth and sustainability of 7-Eleven in Cambodia, while contributing to the Kingdom’s prosperity.
