The “2025 Cambodia first Happy Spring Festival Garden Party” will be co-organised by Tnaot and Chip Mong 271 Mega Mall, with the support of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Tourism. The organisers are pleased to welcome the public to the wonderful event.
The January 11 and 12 cultural festival aims to celebrate Chinese New Year,and will be held at Chip Mong 271 Mega Mall, Phnom Penh’s most premium mall.
The event will feature a wide range of activities, including a traditional Spring Festival dragon dance, lion dancers, a face-changing Sichuan opera, long-spout teapots, performances by the traditional Chinese instrument the Guzheng and more.
The event will also feature a “Spring Festival Red Envelope Wall”. Expatriate Chinese and local residents are welcome to come together to take part in the event.
They will simply write down their New Year wishes in exchange for red envelopes (with random amounts, depending on your luck). A red wall, a blessing in exchange for a year of peace and joy, welcomes the participation of everyone.
Admission to the celebrations is free to all, so everyone can participate in the fun and interactive entertainment. Guests will experience the unique intangible cultural heritage of China, including lacquer fan making, Chinese Hanfu costumes from several dynasties, blessing walls and Xiang Qi booths equipped with AI robots, where attendees can play Xiang Qi against the robots directly.
Members of the public are invited to play a free quiz and win prizes. People may bring home a mascot, an auspicious snake customised by Tnaot, and even more gifts are waiting for lucky players.
