JTI Cambodia Inaugurates Its New World-Class Headquarters

JTI Cambodia officially inaugurated its new world-class headquarters located on the 29th floor of the Garden in the Air Tower (GIA) on Koh Pich on September 23.

The new headquarters are a symbol of JTI Cambodia’s commitment to the wellbeing of its employees. It is designed in line with a modern concept that is comfortable and consists of WE spaces for collaboration, ME spaces for focused work, and SOCIAL spaces for informal interaction.


The establishment of the new headquarters also aims to accompany the future growth of the company, support the evolution of its business culture and provide its employees a wide variety of work settings.

Presiding over the grand opening ceremony were HE Mikami Masahiro, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan Embassy to the Kingdom of Cambodia, HE Meach Sophana and HE Phan Oun.

HE Meach Sophana is secretary of state at the Ministry of Interior and president of the Cambodian Counter Counterfeit Committee (CCCC), while HE Phan Oun is director-general of the Consumer Protection, Competition and Fraud Repression DirectorateGeneral (CCF) at the Ministry of Commerce.

JTI Cambodia General Manager Roy Manalili and the company’s management, including staff, were also in attendance, as were distinguished national and international guests.

JTI Cambodia has been recognised for its human resources (HR) best practices as the Top Employer for two consecutive years, and it also recently launched a new HR policy, called New Ways of Working (NWOW), and a new Global Family Leave Policy, whereby all permanent employees who become parents are entitled to five months of fully paid family leave.

JTI has been acknowledged by Prime Minister Hun Sen as one of the largest taxpayers in the Kingdom. Moreover, the Company has been certified as a Gold Tax Compliance by HE Kong Vibol.

JTI Cambodia also continuously and tirelessly gives back to the community via its community investment programmes.
