Aide et Action (AEA) is an international NGO, with its headquarters Geneva, Switzerland. AEA began operations in  1981 and  is now  in  than 20 countries across Africa,  Caribbean, Europe, South Asia, Southeast Asia and China AEA supports development especially sustainable education  with a belief in  the universal right of children to a quality education. Activities in South East Asia and China (SEAC) started 2001 operating with local partners and government agencies in Cambodia, Vietnam, Lao PDR, China, and Myanmar to enhance quality education as well as to facilitate improved access it.   Since 2016, AEA has operated ICT so called Harnessing Innovative ICT to improve Literacy, Teaching Learning for Cambodian children (Khmer LEARN). The Project aims to catalyze improved reading, learning teaching standards through roll-out of a suite of quality e-learning applications across 7 provinces. Currently, with financial support from USAID through Development Innovations, the project is expanding into the North-east province- Ratanak Kiri and Mondul Kiri to benefit ethnic minority children education.   In order to improve reading activities for children from ethnic minority group, AEA wishes to translate children reading books from Khmer language into Kroeung, Tampoun and Phnorng languages.
