Cambodian artist Long Lavy is back in touch with his artistic side thanks to encouragement from an American friend. Lavy had been forced to put down his paint brush due to financial difficulties, ultimately finding work as a boxer and then tuk-tuk driver to help provide for his family.

Today, Lavy is well on his way to being a celebrated Cambodian artists after a successful exhibition which has placed him on the Kingdom’s art scene.
