The government on Friday eased the district and provincial border restrictions issued on Thursday. People are now allowed to cross districts within their provinces.
Phnom Penh and Kandal province are to be treated as a single region where people are allowed to travel freely.
In the revision of his decision this morning, Prime Minister Hun Sen amended the conditions of the travel restriction due to the need for civil servants, workers and the public to commute and communicate for work purposes.

"Annul the travel ban from district to district within a province, but the travel ban from province to province is maintained,” Prime Minister Hun Sen said in his new order.
On Thursday, the government issued a seven-day travel ban during the Khmer New Year, from Friday until Thursday next week.
The earlier decision banned travel from district to district within a province, and between provinces to province.
Meantime, as of Friday, the Ministry of Health found another positive case of Covid-19, bring the total to 119.
The latest case involves a 34-year-old Vietnamese woman who lives in an apartment in the capital’s Koh Pich. Another four others are reported to have recovered.
