Preah Sihanouk provincial prison prepared 10 pans of chicken curry and 4,000 loaves of bread for distribution to its nearly 2,000 inmates on November 19 to celebrate Water Festival.

“The prison of Preah Sihanouk province prepared 10 pans of chicken curry and 4,000 loaves of bread for distribution to 1,831 inmates – including 139 women – on the occasion of the Water Festival. Inmates also ate the Khmer speciality ambok (flattened rice),” said the Ministry of Interior’s General Department of Prisons in a Facebook post on November 19.

The Facebook page stated that the meals were donated by the Inping Chinese Aid Association of Cambodia.
