The ministry confirmed on July 13 that during the visit Momen will meet with Prime Minister Hun Sen and hold bilateral talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn.
The two foreign ministers will discuss various aspects of their countries' relations and cooperation efforts as well as regional and international issues of common interest and concern.
During his stay in Phnom Penh, Momen will deliver a lecture at a seminar organized by the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR) run by the foreign affairs ministry.
“[Momen's] visit to Cambodia will reaffirm the commitment of both countries to further enhance the existing good relations and cooperation between them for mutual benefit of the two peoples,” the foreign affairs ministry stated.
