True VISIONS International School of Cambodia is to cut down on the use of plastic as part of a determined bid to help save the environment.
“With its use extremely detrimental to the environment, there is a huge need to avoid plastic. ‘Say No to Plastic’ must be the principle we adhere to. We need to take strong measures in support of the concept of zero plastic and help save the environment.
“We can do this in school by preventing unnecessary waste and saving raw materials, and by raising awareness among students, teachers, parents and staff, as well as the wider community, about the dangers of using plastic.
“We can do this together,” said Seng Bona, the director-general of True VISIONS.
With eight campuses in 2022, True VISIONS offers top-class education from kindergarten to high school levels.
True VISIONS has expanded partnerships globally to include New Zealand, Singapore, Australia, the UK and the US, with its students having participated in exchange programmes with partner schools.
