Future journalists from the Cambodian Center for Independent Media led by their training/editing consultant Michael Dickison visited recently to learn about The Post’s operations. They were met by The Phnom Penh Post and Post Khmer executive editor-in-chief Joshua Purushotman, Post Khmer managing editor Sam Rith, and chief operating officer James Ong. During the hour-long visit, the trainees were briefed on various aspects of media operations and the need for good reporting and editing skills. Purushotman fielded various questions from the future journalists, many of whom expressed interest in joining The Post upon graduating.
