On 1st November 2018 “Clean Phnom Penh” is a part of “Cleaning Project” which is secondly launched for 2018 at Royal University of Phnom Penh with the presence of George EDGAR, EU Ambassador to Cambodia, Eang Sophallet, secretary of state at Environment Ministry, and Hun Many, lawmaker and the founder of the project.
“Clean Phnom Penh Campaign” is organized every year during November as this campaign is named as “Clean Month” with the participation of 200 youths who carry out 9 huge activities, such as: workshop under the theme of introduction and education at public and private educational institutions (34 in total), create the short video competition, public debate event, introducing the campaign through Social Media Challenge “My house is clean, Phnom Penh is clean”, continue to stick the stickers “Clean”, encourage to accept the perception of “Clean” widely, continue broadcasting the song of clean Phnom Penh and short video showing about maintaining the clean city on television and media.
