Four seeds crash in Tep Khunnah juniors round 2

Four of the top six seeds crashed out in the second round of the girls singles in the Tep Khunnah Memorial ITF Grade 5 junior tennis tournament at the National Training Center yesterday.

Enduring these shocks around them, however, top-seeded Supapitch Kuearum of Thailand and third seed Fang-Hsien Wu of Taipei stayed on course for semifinal places.

Supapitch defeated Hsing-Ju Sung of Taipei 6-2, 6-4, and Fang-Hsien defeated Lanlana Tararudee of Thailand 6-3, 6-2. In the boys doubles first round on Tuesday, Cambodia’s Tep Timothy and Khleang Punlok were squarely beaten by Chang Lin Tsai of Taipei and Kung Teng Tche of Macau 0-6, 0-6.
