Zaman International School has once again set the bar for academic standards after thirteen of its students gained grade As in the recent Baccalauréat exams. The high number of top achievers meant that the school was in the top four schools for number of grade A students and number one for the percentage of a school’s students gaining the grade.

Head of School at Zaman, Mr Gurkan, was invited to meet the Education Minister, Dr Hang Chuon Naron, on Thursday, October 5 and was awarded a certificate on behalf of the students’ success.

On Saturday (October 14) the thirteen high achievers will meet Cambodian Prime Minister, Samdech Hun Sen, in his governmental office, where he is expected to praise them for their dedication to their studies and encourage them to go on and realise their higher education and career dreams.

The school rewarded the students in its own way on Saturday (October 7) when it invited the thirteen top scholars to join ten other pupils who had achieved top marks in other exams. They were asked to attend an awards ceremony held at Zaman University where they were called to the stage and presented with school scholarships they had gained for their sterling exam efforts. The other exams which gave a reason for students to gain tuition fee discounts were the Smart Exams and the Cambridge Exams.

Zaman is committed to always rewarding students who reach the top in their studies and as well as the exams mentioned has scholarships available for top achievers in AS and A Levels, Primary Checkpoint Exams, IGCSEs and Secondary Checkpoint Exams.
