The American Intercon Institute (Aii) was built upon the philosophy of how a seed planted in school will grow and bear fruit at home and in society. Over the last decade tens of thousands of students have received quality education from Aii. The continuous growth in enrollment each year has led to the necessity for the school to expand into new districts in the near future.

Over the last five years, Aii’s has opened a second campus in Toul Kork and the third in Chak Angre Krom. Alongside this established growth, the founder of the institute, Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach, is also planning to expand five additional campuses to satisfy the increasing demand.

Sophea M. Lay, Vice-President of Aii, stated, “Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach, has always been keen on providing good knowledge and education to the new generation, based on the support of the parents and guardians of the students at our school. We believe the new campus will be established in late 2017 or 2018 at the latest.” To date, the total amount of students at the three campuses are over 6,000 students, with the number continuing to increase year-after-year.

To push a country’s growth with sustainability depends on its human resources being equipped with real knowledge and virtue, not just knowing their own language. “We have to learn one or two more languages. That is why Aii was established with it aims to provide foreign language courses, including English and Chinese, combined with other general knowledge subjects for students at all levels,” commented the Vice President. He further explained that the excellence of students’ learning experience at American Intercon Institute is truly born from the quality of education they receive and the school’s innovative education program.

Aii’s students have always shown an active interest in social activities, including fundraising events for Kuntheak Bopha Hospital, poor children, the elderly and homeless people. The students have also donated their own money to help Mengly J. Quach Foundation in raising funds to build a public school building, which was the Mengly J. Quach ToulBeng Primary School in Kampong Cham. The school was inaugurated recently and is currently in use by under-privileged children in that district.
